Smash Delta Partners with Keolis Downer & TfNSW in Data Activation of Northern Beaches Bus Services

Sydney-based data strategy firm, Smash Delta, has partnered with Keolis Downer (KD) and Transport for NSW (TfNSW) in enabling the data activation of the Region 8 Northern Beaches bus contract. The innovative program, powered by a new smart analytics layer to enhance the operational information moving between KD and TfNSW, is in line with TfNSW’s commitment to “an innovative approach to service delivery and commitment to improvement and innovation”, alongside Keolis Downer’s reputation as a leading operator of innovative transport systems.Smash Delta’s Managing Director, Ben Morley-John commented that “This project is a great example of our vision for smarter cities being powered by data and technology to better serve their communities. We are pleased to build on our heritage of working with TfNSW, including strategic initiatives such as The 30 Minute City, to partner and help realise the Future Transport vision for NSW.”The process included extensive collaboration and co-design between Smash Delta, Keolis Downer and TfNSW – and is expected to serve as a new benchmark for contract service activations going forward.
